Premium pass does not transfer between platforms
So originally purchased ultimate on my xbox my xbox has premium pass however low and behold ps5 does not the pass is tied to your platform account not EA really bad move

I was just told by EA support that Premium passes will not carry over different consoles. I was a bit surprised since I can cross progress between the different consoles. Originally I had pre-ordered gold edition of the game for around $100 for my playstation 4. I then bought another standard edition for the game for my new PC since i'd be able to have that cross progression. Once the battlepass came out I was surprised to see that I could only unlock the premium items on PS4 and not on PC. I went to EA support and they said their hands are tied and things are working as expected. Crazy how they can expect up to shell out $200 for a game with lackluster content and a dwindling player base. EA support also mentioned that this might only be for pre-orders and not for regular battlepass purchases. To be honest i'm still very confused, especially if that were the case. I mean why punish those who pre-ordered the game?
- @mccawwww This could be solved easily by EA at no cost to them, and generate some good will, at the same time.
What I don't understand is that my battlepass is unlocking on my PS4 (when I switch between platforms), but I can't use any of the player cards, etc on my Xbox X.- @Lancelot_du_Lac I heard you have to rank up to the next level for cosmetic items to sync between platforms. I don't know if it's true or not.
@OskooI_007In my experience you don't even need to rank up you just need to equip the items from the premium battlepass and enter into a game on the console you have the premium pass on. Then when you go into game on the other console it will be unlocked. At least that has been what happens for me when I go from PS4 to PC.
Edit: I think you need to equip the premium items you want on the console that you have premium with and then play a round before it syncing up with your other console. I could be wrong but I'll make additional edits after some further testing.
- @mccawwww PS4 to PC may be different because the PS4 version is not cross play with PC. the PS4 app is technically a different "environment" than the PC is so it might not work the same.
