Will this be waved away as "brutal expectations"? ...EA?....DICE?....anyone?

I kind of forgot how gritty the initial trailer looked and how it seemed to focus on CQB infantry style gameplay. This is obviously a far cry from the reality of the core game that was released.

I'm surprised Stodeh kept playing 2042 for that long.
Definitely agree that the portal content should come to All out Warfare. Fact is that there's going to be no new content for several months but they already have content in the game, ready to go for conquest. They just need to be adapted for Breakthrough and that's 6 more maps right there.
Also agree about the feeling of war. I don't mind that maps start in good condition but where's the terrain deformation from previous games? the craters, the terrain damage, even if superficial like building facades? It's all very sterile.
- RipGroove994 years agoSeasoned Ace@OskooI_007 2042 is hot YT content right now because of how bad it is so I reckon it was 80% content related and 20% because he actually liked it.

@RipGroove99 wrote:I don't usually just spam other peoples YT videos but Stodeh has nailed it here, this definitely debunks the whole "you played the Beta so you knew what you were getting into" argument. There are some very clear discrepencies between the original trailer, the Beta and then the actual game.
......and I don't usually watch videos that people post but after reading your description, I'm glad I did.
This guy is spot on and reflects how I and I believe many others feel on at least quite a few of his points.

BETA felt more like BF experience that`s for sure. I enjoyed myself more in Beta than in the final product, except for the framerate. If the devs ever listened to him and the community, then we would have a great Battlefield experience. Right now only big no-nos. Stod is right in my humble opinion.

I would not say "you played the Beta so you knew what you were getting into"
I would say "you played launch state - BFV/BF1/BF4/BF3/[Insert EA Franchise title] so you knew what you were getting into
- RipGroove994 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_Hawxxeye Ive said it many times, BF launches are usually rough but 2042 is so far off the mark design wise that it's not the usual rough launch. It can't be fixed with time because it's too far off script of a usual BF game.
