It's just blatant false advertising if they no longer allow full progression in solo modes. They made the promise it would be, and a lot of people bought the game just on that. After just 24 hours they turned it off.
I don't want to continue playing it just for reduced xp, no ribbons, no mastery skins and just unlocking the first optic and mag attachment on new guns (that's all that unlocks now).
What's even more frustrating though is that it's been 2 days now, and there has been no clear response about what's going on. Is this a bug because of them messing with portal mode, or is this fully intentional and they no longer want people unlocking most stuff in solo mode because they think it's far too easyto do so?
There's a lot of muddy waters here because some people are saying it's like this for them in the main AOW MP mode too, but no one on reddit is really saying anything about it.
@GenoshaONE7FIVE @RealNinjaPirate I'm still 50/50 to whether it's a bug or intentional. Either way I just don't see why it matters to them now if people want to boost or not since it was being done in previous Battlefield games, now all of a sudden it's a big deal. After all, they're forcing console to play with PC so we kinda need all the advantages we can get.
Yeah, I was surprised when I had to disable crossplay on my console settings rather than game. Which did work when I played online (though never for long because of crashes). Though it means I cant play with friends on PS5. Ideally I would like to crossplay with other consoles while opting out of PC players with Mouse and Keyboard. Was one of the reasons I stopped playing warzone, on Xbox it forces you to play with mouse and keyboard players on Xbox and PC. Eh, no thanks.
