Its very annoying. I don't think its a bug. They have turned it off when they nerfed XP farming in Portal. Though it seems you can unlock some attachments until you have to be a mastery level, then it wont count anymore kills and unlock anything. Hopefully they will turn it back on soon, as I cant play multiplayer without my console crashing, so Co-op to unlock gear was only option for me. Not worth playing now. Oddly it has just been EA games that have crashed my console, first it was F1, then FIFA and now Battlefield. EA really wants to kill my console!
