@b0n3zyThank you for the heads up. Dang, that's a real shame, but I can't say I'm surprised...
Well, no matter what, I'm determined to keep this thread alive even so. I want them to see this post as much as possible, so that they can see just how much people this is affecting, and how we're not okay with it. They're already doing little fixes here and there, like dozer's shield, so it's not like they're completely doing nothing.
I'm confident they will help us out eventually, they have to, especially with the big launch on Friday. We just need to keep this at the top of the bug page...
Keep up the pressure, boys/girls!
@TDawg262Sure!
I just loaded up BF for one game to test the new drivers and I used the SMG for a bit (I only play multiplayer). Funnily enough, got one attachment, don't have the time to test any more now, will see if I can open some more.
On another note, I didn't notice any improvements with the new drivers, frames even seem lower. And just FYI, my system is pretty decent. I play on a 32" 2K monitor @240hz, the rig is a 5800X, 16gigs, 3080.
Game still feels very sluggish to me both in motion and in mouse input. I even tried some of FR33TH's tweaks along with some other things I saw on Reddit and I think I'm just gonna stop playing till I hear that something has improved.
And again, omg those fokn footsteps drive me crazy. Tik tok tik tok people running all over the place. What the hell?
- GenoshaONE7FIVE4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@b0n3zy I have a 2080ti, i9 9900k 32g ram and I have to cap my frames at 60 if I want ultra settings lol...
Also the new drivers last night now make it look worse. Evrything now has a shimmering around it, like I have chromatic aberration on, but I don't. It was bad before but now it looks even worse.- 4 years ago
@GenoshaONE7FIVEThx for posting this m8, I thought it was just me being negative.
And to add to what I wrote above, I play on LOW on the above system and still, I think that everything is sluggish...
I might just try what Nvidia Experience suggests for optimal settings and see how it goes again (Everything on ultra and DLSS balanced). The only problem with that is that last time I tried it DLSS adds a strange jagged shadow around object that really ennoys me. DLSS does the same thing in Warzone so I never enable it. I get 150-170 fps @ 2K with the settings I use so I don't need it.- GenoshaONE7FIVE4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@b0n3zy The thing I did to stop the sluggishness and frames tanking was turn off ray tracing, it's not like it makes a positive visual difference anyway, at least to me. My DLSS is on quality though.
