@EA_Atic here's the problem consoles can't create custom games or lobbies in portal or add bots to the games or even join a squad. Your reply doesn't satisfy any of our expectations and we politely demand the services we paid for in the marketing and websites.
Full progression any mode any activity all mastery all unlocks all ribbons medals ect in coop solo.
CONSOLE CAN NOT EDIT ANY PORTAL SETTING ANY THING EXCEPT SERVER NAME AND PASSWORD.
NO ONE WANTS A EXPLOIT ON THIS THREAD!
Sorry for the caps but I want your game to succeed and you guys are seriously pissing off the community and people are running away from the game in droves refunding and trashing the game for this. We want all these people to stay with the game.
I spent $520 on 4 copies of ultimate so I could play coop with my kids away from toxic MP and horrific chat on screen. None of my kids are earning mastery or progression on anything anymore and they are upset don't understand that it's not broke and that you guys did this deliberately.
We really need you to take this to heart and address the issue and respect our passion for your game. Because it easily flips to the polar opposite and then it's just all toxic hate.
Anyways I respect your teams and appreciate the effort and time you put in but we need to see your taking us seriously and publicly address this issue thank you.

Oh and just for those who dont like to browse the slag-heap known as twitter, every person bringing this up in reponses on the comms twitter gets a flock of multiplayer sweats saying "bots isnt how you play the game its your fault, its a multiplayer game" and "cope lol". just driving the nail in further, you love to see it
Very good job, in case they don't fix the issue because they re afraid of ppl grinding AI for progress then thats just a bad joke...
yes - Portal was over the top abused, but they didn't just have the idea of implimenting that thing last month... how come it's such a big shocker that if they don't program some preventations properly, it will be abused? Most of us knew that the moment they read about it the first time....
Anyways PVE people might have the progress throu grinding AI, but then you look at the PVP alternative happening - lots of people just taking on the most XP rewarding loadouts instead of actually playing objective...
I rather have some people who like to play their role n not worry about XP in multiplayer because they can catch up in PVE if they want - then having people flying the drone trying to mark as many enemies as possible, or 3 hovercrafts making drive by's every few seconds.
But since XP ain't the actual issue here(at least yet) let's talk Attachments or other unlockables... for me that mostly means i'll only stay in the role that i'm most comfortable with, without touching any other role... since i can't figure out when im bad at sniping in PVP or did i just miss some fine modifications of my rifle, or was the enemy just too good for me at this point... pve is a good way to figure these things out and also to unlock these fine attachments while in pvp i certainly woulnd't torture myself to 300+ kills with some sniper just to find out "nah its not for me"... and that's just one of many reasons why different people have different reasons for wanting progress in pve - without having the intention of abusing the AI just for speedy grinding.
I'm stunned they didn't even mention it in the patch note. That's EA for you.

The removed progression from solo/coop gameplay and do not plan to restore that functionality prior to the games launch. since I paid for the Gold edition to gain access to that functionality prior to launch and have not been able to use that functionality at all I would like a refund. I understand that my playtime is well over the normal window for granting refunds however EA has created extenuating circumstances that I feel warrant some extra leeway. regardless you paid at least 30 dollars extra to get something they took away and are not going to put back in until nearly the full release date. doesn't really matter when/if they put it back in you still got screwed out of every penny you paid extra to get in early.
We have to keep hope, I'd still play the game cause of the amount of wait. When I first got on the game (only had 3 hours of sleep that day cause too excited) I sat there and grinded the living out of my soul, I've complete the M5A3 only in Coop on the first day, nearly completed the DM7 the next morning, when I noticed my stuff wasn't tracking anymore, I restarted the game once, played again, quickly started to realize what was happening, I was so sad, yet I kept playing cause I know one day, they will reenable it, they said the XP measures where temporary, yet I don't know if those issues can be said for progression. Only time will tell. We must all keep hope, and have the greatest patience ever on this topic.
and in case anyone needs some info to stand their ground on their rightful expectations this sentence is on their official "Battlefield briefing: get ready for launch" posted to steam on Nov. 10th
"All experience you earned in Battlefield™ 2042 is universal and shared across all its modes, which means you’ll be leveling up and unlocking new weapons, gadgets, and cosmetics no matter which mode you’re playing."
At the moment the best we can do is unlock all the guns in their stock form, but I suppose you can still do that if you want to while we wait for an answer.
For me I just can't find interest in it to play more than half a round until they fix it.

update: steam approved my refund even though I have 19 hours on record. if they ever fix solo/coop i can pay the normal price to get the game instead of paying the 30 extra just to see how broken it was early.
I’m really wondering if when they flipped the switch to turn off all stuff for portal mode in turn it was also the same switch for solo and co-op. Maybe they can’t change it individually but have to do it all together? Honestly we will find out when they enable xp for portal, hopefully sometimes this upcoming week

good god...this is alpha ffs....we paid the damn devs to create a game not actually release a working game..........gj me...gj me.
i thought i would have learnt to stop pre jerking on games .......this is it for me...im done with pre ordering..and im done with this damn game
