And the standard edition release is on Friday so November 19 - 4 years ago
regardless you paid at least 30 dollars extra to get something they took away and are not going to put back in until nearly the full release date. doesn't really matter when/if they put it back in you still got screwed out of every penny you paid extra to get in early.

and in case anyone needs some info to stand their ground on their rightful expectations this sentence is on their official "Battlefield briefing: get ready for launch" posted to steam on Nov. 10th
"All experience you earned in Battlefield™ 2042 is universal and shared across all its modes, which means you’ll be leveling up and unlocking new weapons, gadgets, and cosmetics no matter which mode you’re playing." - 4 years ago

- 4 years ago@JudgmentOfHelion don't know if you try for one but - good luck on your refund
- 4 years ago@Ryth55 Use credit card, go through their refund; Capitol1 is great about it, as far as I, and they, are concerned this is false advertising. Shared unlocks and exp... then pull it, nope, that's not the product I paid for.

@gbullock32already tried, but since i played the hell out of it the first day before the patch, and after the patch didn't realize what's going on, i already had quite some time on my counter, now stupid me played 1 round every day to see if something changed so just got too much playtime... but apart from 2 very stubborn ones - i at least managed to talk some friends out of buying in the first place, at least till it's not such a mess anymore, and once it's cheaper...
For now yes - It's even false advertising... but if they fix it, then at very least it's not worth whatever money was paid to play it early.
thanks anyway thou, i'll surely help some other poor folks
- 4 years ago@Ryth55 Strange they would not refund, again though, I'm going through my Credit company who gives 0 * about EA, so they will refund and argue with EA on my behalf.

They shouldn't even need to patch this issue that we are all having with Solo/Co-op. I believe it's a server side change so it should be easy for them to reinstate the experience for AoW Solo/Co-op and keep it turned off for Portal, but it is EA/DICE and they seem to struggle with simple tasks...
AngryJoe is beside himself and the rest of us should continue to keep up the pressure on EA/DICE for their incompetence. This is an amazing franchise and they need to quit f**king over their consumers with incomplete bullsh**.

If the progression doesn't come back by the time portal has its xp and such back I'm pretty much done with this game, Ea be like hey we got this solo mode so you can play alone or with friends and still progress... Sike. i honestly don't understand why they removed it, it was actually part of the original game i can understand if it didnt have progression from the start but with how they said you could do it and how you could do it at launch it doesn't make sense. also considering this hasn't been taken down if its not a bug might mean something. or it means they cant take it down

Honestly, I just want an answer at this point from someone, and no copy/paste, automated BS either.
Devs, Managers, Reps, just communicate with your fed-up consumers already!!! We want to hear an actual response, and get some real answers for once!

Always been a fan of popping into Red Orchestra 2, BF2, Insurgency, whatever and playing against bots. When I noticed 2042 was gonna have that, I was enticed, and bought it specifically to play against bots in solo/co-op. I realise a whole bunch of people have been ragging on solo players for buying a multiplayer game to fight bots, but the game has been advertised from the beginning as a personalised experience. Play your way, and you'll play the same as everyone else. Then it [progression] gets disabled because a totally unrelated group abuses it, and not one soul but the EA Help people on Twitter throwing out hollow responses, actually respond to the issue in some kind of public address. The fact that so much of their direct communication have been diligent towards fixing server issues is remarkable and worth appreciation, but Christ, all we need is an answer as to what's going on. Hope they at least answer before the launch of the game.

Woke up yet to another disappointment EA still doesn't acknowledge the fact this is an issue. The update that released today didn't fix it. When will EA actually start to listen to it's people, We bought the game at a higher price cause we trusted you. yet you leave us to die in a place of ignorance and misconduct. I'd say this is typical EA, yet I've never seen anything like this. Time to get on the game and do like 1-5 Coop/Solos (which won't even give me the First Match Of The Day XP) and wonder why they haven't said anything about this issue. I still keep hope for this topic, we must not stop posting, no matter how desperate the situation looks.
