This whole launch really showcases just how little EA thinks of us. They've always been a crappy company but this has to be an all new low, even after the clusterf$&k that was Anthem. Luckily for me, I didn't actually buy BF2042 as I've been using the EA Play free trial thing they let you use. I'll continue to keep checking the game every other day or so but I can confirm that at least as of a few minutes ago, Thursday Nov 18 1:20 EST, they still have not turned on solo/co-op progression for weapons. At this point, I don't think I'll give them my money even if they DO turn it back on. The secrecy, the lack of customer care, the blatant lying. All of these are just more and more nails in the coffin so I say screw EA and their complete disregard for their paying customers.
Yeah, really. If people started boycotting their games, even the morons at the top would start realizing something was wrong. I was willing to...maybe not forgive their past sins but at least forget about them if BF2042 was good but this ain't it, chief. Like a friend of mine has been saying for years, I think EA just needs to burn. Hopefully better companies will pick apart its corpse for the good IPs and do good things with them. *cough* Dead Space *cough*
