I submitted a refund request this morning with a bunch of info from this last week. Hopefully Steam will understand and just go ahead without issue.
Just do not have time to be a sweaty gamer anymore, I enjoy the casual experience I can jump in and out of. If only MP wasn't super laggy on my 3080 lmao
I was able to get a refund in about an hour, if y'all are in the same boat I suggest doing the same!
It went into my Steam wallet, but I am more than happy to keep it there, since I am always getting games :D
I just wanted to point out that whatever change caused this issue was not issued in a patch. 2042 didn't receive any updates between day 1 and 2 of early access. So the change and any fixes are almost certainly server side and won't require a full game patch to resolve.
