Tbh at this stage if this is the sorta stuff we have to put up with i'd be happy with just getting remasters of games like bf3 bf4 ect

@Johnathan123YT Well portal was supposed to fill that gap but not a lot of people want to play it because of the progression restrictions.

    @Johnathan123YT Im not too fussed about a campaign, just wanted the multiplayer and solo/coop, and would have been happy with custom BF3/BFBC2 portal servers but no progression no play

    What exactly did you enjoy about the campaigns of the last 2 BF games that had it?

    BF1 was somewhat passable with a few great moments like the pigeon flight, the last stand of Bess, Laurence of arabia and the dude who was fighting the zepelin.

    BFV had a really unremarkable campaign that failed to immerse in the spirit of that war

    Still not a definite answer. Its working as intended (at the moment because they put restriction on), but if this turns out to be a permaent thing then Portal is dead on arrival, and solo/coop players will leave in droves making the player count less than it already is.
