@Spidder81I didn't misunderstand a single thing, my friend. You completely disregarded the very first thing I mentioned in the last post about preceding, descriptive language--language that sets the tone and conditions for what comes after it.
This is how legal contracts work, and I am attempting to show you how language affects the entire scope of an agreement. If you can't get past this one very basic point, we might as well stop discussing it now, and you can (erroneously) believe whatever you want.
The quote doesn't say anything about XP being restricted in different modes, because that is not what the quote is talking about. Thank you for affirming exactly what I was trying to tell you: The quote has nothing to do with restrictions; it is only saying that they will transfer all assets that you have unlocked ("earned") to other platforms. If you haven't unlocked ("earned") items or XP--whether through lack of playtime, inadequate skill level, or due to restrictions imposed within the game--there is nothing to transfer.
If you want to discuss how we both seem to think that progression and XP caps are infuriating and causing many players to not want to play the game (myself included), we can agree on that all day long, but transfer of earned assets (addressed in the quote) has nothing to do with whether or not you will be allowed to earn those assets in the first place (not addressed in the quote).
As for after-release restrictions, the entire TOS was one big set of restrictions and guidelines that determine how the game can and will be managed, going forward--and you agreed to it.
That's all I care to say on the matter. Be well.
Anymore update about this?
