To be fair, there were a bunch of solo posts merged into this now main one, and there are many duplicate replies like the one you posted - Of course, I completely understand and agree: it's not fun going somewhere for information and not getting what you want.
Trust me, the team is fully aware of Portal (and persistent server) concerns; the heroes and champions also bring it up all the time. Everything is on the list to be looked into - I don't know how deep its going/will go, but they will certainly update everyone here when they are allowed to do so. Last debrief spoke of making additions to AOW so at the very least, baby steps are being taken.
I recommend to new eyes to the board (and anyone else who may have forgotten to do so), to click on the "me too" button on OP's post and maybe throw some XP their way so you can kind of escalate the post for the team. Someone is always taking notes, even if they decide/aren't allowed to post
@TTZ_DipsyYeah that may be so but the xp and prog issue is a just a case of turning it on, as was demonstrated when it has been accidentally activated, they turn it of just as easily. The fact that a yes it will come, or a no it will never happen is all we want is baffling that it has taken this long.
Basically PVE players have just been left in the dark not knowing where they stand, for 10 months on a game they paid full price for, knowing that solo/coop had full xp and progression for the first 2 days, and because of Portal farming (even though it is still possible with just players in Portal) it was restricted.
By then for a lot of players it was too late to refund. It was always believed before release that full xp and prog will be across the board with how they advertised it, they also never once mentioned, ever, that certain modes will be restricted. There is also links in this thread to past things that was said about Portal being monitored and having things in place to prevent Portal farming which were said before release, which was lies obviously.
So you can see why people are not happy, especially more so that its been about 10 months with a "we are aware" Doesnt really mean a lot after this amount of time of not knowing either way.
Yup that's more than fair. For me personally, it was after the Zombies event they made where I stopped seeing a point in limiting XP. Certain weapons are made better with specific unlocks but farming that is mostly harmless.
