I would like to see Mastery XP, Weekly Missions being supported on solo mode or custom servers with bots. being at the bottom of the globe the are less players active in the mornings. i have a few hours before i go to work, but am unable to find a game.
This leaves solo mode or custom server with bots, both of which don't support Mastery XP, Weekly Missions. it would be good to allow both Mastery XP, Weekly Missions in solo and custom servers and limit the progression to be based on the players K/D ratio. The higher K/D you have the less progression you get.
or reduce the number to start as the duration to find players increases, so many players jump on to the queue and then leave.
This way i can get a couple of games in, in the morning when there are no local players and keep my progression going.

I empathize with your situation but I think that the weekly missions need to be achieved competing against real human players. They already aren't that hard to accomplish, which I am grateful for. And anyway some of them just can't be achieved against bots, achievements involving battle ribbons for instance that are not permitted to be achieved in solo matches. It's just much easier to fight against the bots. They're programmed and predicable. If solo matches earned weekly missions then no one would play the PVP online matches. Also it would get pretty boring earning the missions. In the end the game would die. It's already on life support.

Hi @DaveTheBrave_USA , you raise a good point that allowing XP progression in solo matches might cause less live matches and might kill the game more.
So with that in mind, it would be better for Dice to lower the required player count the longer the player(s) wait. This means the match will kick off eventually.
Yes there would be opportunities for the match to be 1 vs bots. But most times when im queuing to start a match you see many players enter the queue then leave. And i'm guity of the same thing, join a breakthrough queue, see there is only 3 players, bail and try conquest... and then turn off in frustration.
I think Dice have done an amazing job and trying to recover from the launch issues, but they still have some work to do to attract back the players. This approach might breath some life into the game.

@Breachieor if that is not possible, the assists shoudl also count as kills
I do not know what they are even protecting anymore by limiting progression in Solo/co-op.
Nobody of any importance will care if someone else right now is higher level or has red skins

Just thought I'd say that I played a few games earlier today (on my custom portal modes) and was completing missions even though I was playing solo against AI. I don't seem to be getting this anymore, but I played 5-6 games and probably completed around 20 missions during that time.
- BigShottt3 years agoSeasoned Ace@CableTongue This is a temporary/brief event that always happens immediately following a backend update (ribbons and missions work with PvE AI). Lasts for a very short time and then the restriction are back in place soon after.
