Proper Balance is Needed.

When it comes to the balance between vehicle and infantry, we need to buff weaker one to provide them more ways to counter opponents, not to debuff the stronger one to decline the gameplay of this interesting confrontation.


There is a fact we need to know, it's a unbalanced confrontation between vehicle and infantry. To beat a tank, you need to bring another tank or a attack helicopter to solve this problem, or multiple rocket launcher. It is WRONG to debuff vehicles enough to make it equal to infantry.


Look at the machine guns of the vehicles, they are so ponderous and lack of accuracy, weaker than weapons of infantry at most of time. The 20mm gun cannot kill an infantry untill 3 direct hit to their human body, that's rediculous.


Balance between specialists is not that good, either. Some of them are seldom picked. Engineer class is not picked often because their skills are not so good.
And where is the TV missile of gunship? Why do you nerf C5? The risk of C5 is high enough to destroy an vehicle. Or do you want players to shoot each other with toy guns?
MAV and transport helicopter need a respawn function, too. They are functional vehicles other than battle vehicles.


We need more vehicles to counter hostile vehicle but not to weaken all the ability for vehicles and infantry to achieve so-called balance.

  • @Mutsuki-chan agree, this is never brought up by EA, favoring one or the other is just not understanding it well enough, but I also think we need good maps to balance things out, also the 50mm gun on the heli was nerfed into the ground, so I don't even use it anymore, the fact a railgun you can use does more damage than a 50mm gun makes me laugh.

    The POV for gunners needs to be better, sometimes gets blocked too by the vehicle itself or the view is so off and strange when moving around, The Lis changes to me seem to be EA trying to favor one or the other, buffed her so strong everyone just spammed her, now the nerfs and everyone changes playstyles.
  • BC2s M136 AT4 could be the missing component.

    Should be made even harder to use than Lis rockets, but more damage vs air vehicles and thus more rewarding for skilled shots. Also without the visible and audible effect to punish hovering helis.

    There is no balance because the game has chaos as it's core design, the only balance it knows is no balance.

  • @Mutsuki-chan you can spawn directly on the Hind/Condor and/or MAV as long as a seat is open.

    the spawn beacon was chosen for specific vehicles, the RAM's beacon can be destroyed by enemy forces even.

    I agree though the balance is so far out of proportion is crazy, but its not absent, DICE just does not know what its doing. I don't think they even have anyone who is a qualified tactical advisor on things like this, they literally just guess. Hell, I'd take that job, given my background.

    AA needs a dedicated category, too many players have the Wildcat configured in a AT/Infantry role while trying to fight aviation, or in AA Config trying to focus solely on vehicles. This ruins any chance of viable dedicated AA Support on maps with just 1 Wildcat. We need a dedicated AA Platform.

    ^ ^ This is false - Engineer is the second most used class, if not THE most used class. you cannot tell me nearly every single match i see 20+ Rockets flying in all sorts of directions within a time span of 30s-1m - that Engineer is not used. thats just not true.

If you are referring to the 20mm of the Brawler, that's because its a AA Flak Gun, its meant for Anti-Air. though a 20mm round slapping your body should turn you into a pink mist pile of splattered goo, but we cant have that. We cant even have OHK Headshots from sniper rifles or any firearm for that matter !!

    30mm is the guns you are referring to if not the Brawler. like LATV, M5 and MAV, they have 30mm HE, and again, because it would simply be too easy, that HAD to be balanced out to take multiple hits for TTK.
