I agree 100%. If Hell Let Loose can do it I don't see why 2042 can't. The only thing I can see holding DICE / EA back is the irrelevant and BS excuse of increased toxicity. Having played HLL I find the proximity voice to be extremely helpful in giving enemy movements, etc etc. A quick context ping button isn't enough imo.
