QoL changes for Angel's Loadout Crate

Currently Angel is the least used support specialist as players often have a hard time understanding how to use him. His kit is well blanced currently but players often don't take advantage of his loadout crate due to lack of knowlege of how to call it in and that it can refill weapon and gadget ammo. Here are a few changes that could help with players learning how to use his crate.

  1. Make the loadout crate to also to be change by Plus system key (T or hold LB) and update gadget hud icon to represent there are 2 gadgets in the same slot.
    • The Idea is to give more indication of the player that Angel has 2 gagets similar to Irish (or Sundance Before removal of EMP and Anti Armor nades.) Currently the control hint is not enough to let players know angel has the ability to drop a crate, especially since control hints can be turned off.
  2. Make the crate refill ammo in a radius like Ammo crates or the HZ ammo cache.
    • Already few players know if you press the interact key you refill all ammo than change loadout and if anything it should just be a radius refill for players to use as they pass by. Cooldowns stay the same.
    • Additionally the Icon for the crate should be more visible farther away to help player see they can change loadout and where is the crate.

With these changes Angel should be more relevant in resupply ammo with the loadout crate once players learn how to call it in and the benefits of doing so to the team.

  • @BownrInSweatPanz I played Angel non stop at launch. It was the only real option with Hinds and Condors dominating every inch of every single map. Spawn Angel, call in crate and sit and fire AA 3/4 of every match just to take down a single Hind or Condor.

Now Angel is pretty much a waste of game
Development time. No heals at all. The 2042 med bag limited to one each and the cooldown is waaaaaay to long. I can have TWO med bags down in BF4 and still be able to deploy them more frequently. BF1 medics can spam the small med pouches.

Yeah sad days for Angel. A crap medic and the resupply crate is underwhelming and can’t be utilized indoors.
  • Agreed, Angel needs some love.

The call in crate is too clunky and not obvious.  I'd rather they just scrap that idea and make his ability a upgraded version of the existing ammo box. Something easily deployable/tossable indoors.

Radius resupply.  Interaction gets you an instant full resupply. Ability to have 2-3 deployed.

You could limit ammo crates to just resupplying ammo, and Angel's crate resupplies everything.

Angel's crate temporarily provides an armor plate to Angel when he is fighting near the crate.

Teammates can request an Angel crate from the call-in menu, and Angel can call it into them from a distance.

Squadmates can spawn in on Angel's crate location.

If Angel calls in a Ranger and his crate, the Ranger can then prox resupply teammates.

The Loadout Crate already is an upgraded ammo box, it's just not clear enough for people to recognize it as such.

@Zhukov211 Angel can spam ammo pouches like bf1 support but if you want heals Falck is the person for the job with her Syrette pistol. Both crates now have 16 second cooldown from 30 which is very helpful, but I can see why having 2 crates would be better, maybe with squad orders field upgrades can allow that to happen.
