We wish. Played yesterday several rounds. Game was ruined by a Nightbird. Way to op, after spawning hardly chance to do something,.killed immediately. The dude was.only waiting for the damn thing, not playing anything else, ending up in 60/3 or something. That's utterly ridiculously that one player.dominates a game and spoils the fun of the others. Its just necessary to nerf those. At least get rid of the stupid change that locks are lost below a certain altitude, that was e realistic change, sure......
@AuMordum wrote:Was there an undocumented change to either of the helos? They can't kill anything and fly like a brick. Another completely unnecessary nerf to keep bad skilled players quiet? tf is this
Can you be more specific about what has changed? And then I had time to play after the update.
- VOLBANKER_PC3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Dutchie-Mario Oh but don’t you get it: It’s our own fault when a pilot goes 50-3 ‘cause we could just dedicate our playing time the entire round to doing AA duty!

Your pilots failed you, the new stationary AA operator will have failed you, and collectively, you all failed eachother if 2+ ground troops decide not to band together for a 10 second task of firing dumbfire rockets at a paper thin whirly bird.
- @TTZ_Dipsy The flares negate any teamplay with dart and/or soflam and/or RAO.
Ever seen the NB sweats on youtube? You can see yourself how they do it. This game has broken meta when it comes to the Nightbird vs ground. - TTZ_Dipsy3 years agoHero+
You and your buddy can reload your rockets faster than the flare lasts - if the pilot is dumb enough to still maintain that space he's done for when you fire again.
If he runs away with his tail between his legs, congratulations, you did your part and allowed your team to regroup. We all prefer kills, sure, but stopping them, even momentarily, is a small win in of itself.
Now if nobody else is going to help you I say you whip out that keyboard and tell em whats what.
- @TTZ_Dipsy Just hover up and down, and locks are gone, if hacked by Rao they just flare and fly away. If a vehicle is hacked it can't do anything anymore, that's tje difference.

@Dutchie-MarioSo you are saying TGM needs flares? Or railgun tank isn't accurate enough?
As nb main, when there is team that has wildcat with some brains, can do the job. At this point your team was weak if No1 can't down darn bird. I've been in sweaty fights just with one guy. TGM or wildcat, not forget camping tors. And you can always counter bird - this will bring you to conclusion, it's not op bird, it's skill involved.-shortly, there are tons of gears and vehicles that can down aircrafts, use it correctly and with proper teamwork air will have no chances.
- @Man_iLoveFishing no, didnt say that. It's the non realistic mechanic that, when a chopper lowers altitude the locks etc are gone. If you hack still manage to flare around and fly away behind the hills and attack you from behind etc. coming back fully flared up again, ruiining a good game with their. It happens a lot so I guess you're saying all other players are not playing correctly

A competent pilot needs a special approach, is it an axiom or do you think otherwise? The infantry game is similar to QUAKE, you were killed and respawned and ran on. You do not lose anything from death, what are you complaining about then? So the question arises, if you have nothing to lose, unlike a helicopter pilot, then who has it harder on the battlefield?
I don’t worry about this at all, they will kill me, I will revive somewhere far away and catch the pilot from the G-84.
