@2Timothy3You will never like this game. No one wants to play old refurbished games and that’s not profitable.
Expecting to revive old BF games is not going to happen.
not entirely true... Modern Warfare Remastered was successfull to the point that this year are launching Modern Warfare 2.
Hitman franchise the same thing, The Last of Us, Ace Combat 5 for PS4, Metal Gear and a long ETC list... so, it depends on how they make the remake/reamster title.
Bad Company 2 Remastered o BF3 Remastered would be million years better than this actual game
I wholeheartedly agree. Personally, I think Portal has the ability to be a brilliant concept in that respect but they will need to put much more effort into to to realize its true potential. Unfortunately, I think being tied to BF2042 isn't doing it any favors.
The idea that no one wants remastered titles is shortsighted and frankly doesn't bear out in reality. If that were true, game companies wouldn't waste their efforts. ....and do I really need to point to obvious successes like GTAV which is going on it's 3rd remaster this coming March? Last year in their investor call they made a point of noting that future plans will include more remasters of other fan favorite titles. .....RDR1 is now rumored to be one of them which I would certainly buy myself.
To your point, CoD:MW2019 was a very successful move by Infinity Ward. It actually brought me back to the franchise after many years away. Apparently, MW2 is next now that its IWs turn again at the helm.
The market for remasters is really ripe for the picking especially now that we have next-gen consoles.
I would have loved to have seen one of the BF fan favorite titles from the past with new mechanics, new weapons, old and new maps, etc. rather than this new direction they took in BF2042. In fact, the only reason I bought this game was for Portal so my friends and I could play some of these old games again in their updated form.
