Railgun tank is way too easy to use
I think the footage speaks for itself. Are aircraft just expected to not do anything near the ground ever again?

Completely working as intended. Fair expectations, not brutal. 2EZ. This is its intended use though, poping vehicles. Besides, after killing a condor like that, if enemy players have any brain cells, they will come for you, and they will kill you. This tank is defenceless besides APS. So if a heli comes for you with AGM missiles or same condor with 50mm cannon, there is nothing you can do tp stop them from killing you
- @UNL1M1T3D_P0W3RNot to mention the warm up needed to shoot so you really need to carefully plan those shots and there’s always a risk factor of the target moving a tiny bit and you miss. The tank is made of paper, has a long reload time, a garbage secondary weapon, zero splash damage… it’s actually pretty useless except for one thing: high damage against vehicles. It’s a 2 shot on a standard tank or other vehicle. By all means, let’s nerf the one thing it can do. That’s par for the course for 2042, they nerf the primary role of everything so expect the nerf next update.

It's a simple and straightforward vehicle with extremely limited use, and no way to defend itself.
If you don't go into siege mode, it take couple seconds to charge. In siege mode its almost instant.
And as I said, enemy aircraft comes for you, you're dead because you can't move.
If you go closer to action, you're dead because you have no splash damage against infantry
Besides, in that video its using Maul cannon which takes about 25 seconds to replenish 1 shot, so ain't no way you're engaging multiple enemies.
And if you're using default cannon, it's 2 shot to kill planes/helis and 3 shot to kill transport aircraft - @UP_LordPlumber I still don't like the fact of across the map shots tho.

Good pilots will adapt as always to proactively go after the one using the railgun tank.
In the short time that I used it I noticed that it has such a bad vertical aiming angle that it is completely helpless against an aircraft that is anywhere nearby.
It just became much easier to nail pilots who are derping around while thinking that the flare button can solve almost all their problems

Start adapting. Stop thinking you can fly directly onto an objective with 6 people and capture it without any fear of death. - @UP_LordPlumber
The other day there was some really good transport pilot in the other team. I went absolute HAM on them with the Railgun riffle, Liz missile and SOFLAM.
Being in plain view? Soflam
Flares? Railgun
Hiding on the Roof of the objective or out bounds to repair? Liz missile!
On the second time I hit the Hind so squarely in the cockpit with the Liz missile that it killed the pilot outright.
