Would Battlefield 2042 ever consider having a "ranked" mode? Something like Halo or Apex where you can earn a rank? Maybe it's just me but I find most matches I'm in has around 1-2 people on each team with high scores, high k/d ratios. Then 80% are around average.
Now I hate SBMM and don't want that in 2042 but I just wonder what it would be like to play 1 out of 10 games with only really good players.

Also, with how bad the hit reg and desync are, I don't know how you could actually measure skill in this game.
It's easy to tell who's good at this game I play against the the same players game after game. The same names are at the top of the scoreboard game after game.

In Portal, is there a way to restrict players under say S001 from joining? If that was possible, that could be a way to do it manually for at least players with a lot of hours (maybe not skill though).
That's a solid idea. To have that option would be cool.
