I am all for 4 more seasons of content in Year 2 if that is what this is. I am just saying, then the question becomes are we paying for a single season (Season 5), or for 4 more seasons, and what is that going to cost? In the last Podcast, Straatford pointed out that you will be able to pay for "Season 5" with boins, not "Year 2 Upgrade" as it is referenced in the Origin pic.
Again, I am all for 4 more seasons of content, but they have already noted "no more Specialists", which would seem like Season 5 with one map, and maybe a few weapons is it.
For them to go from a partial Season 5 drop to an entire year with 4 more seasons just seems very unlikely.
We will see.
What if DICE marketing deliberately does this in order to influence players to invest more time/money into a game because they perceive longevity? With vague "accidental" messages like this, they get some of that benefit without actually having to commit to anything.

I honestly don't think they change the season cost from the 1000 boins. Which just leads into if you buy the season pass once, and complete it, it carries forward to the next one. I haven't spent any of the boins I've earned since buying the first season which means I always have enough for the next one.
