Black Screen Bug in Battlefield 2042

I go to join a game, any mode that isn't Conquest, and it just doesn't let me. It searches for a few seconds, acts like it's going to connect to something, loads me into a black screen and then kicks me back to menu. I have a good PC that gets really good FPS on this game, good interenet connection, and I've tried just about everything to fix this issue (reinstalling, verifying game integrity, relaunching steam and EA, etc.) and nothing works. If anyone has a solution I'd love to hear it.
