Obviously EA have boosted the Specialists' power for more to like them...
Gone is the learning curve in Battlefield. Now its all about entitlement and instant gratification.

This coming from a veteran BF player. it's not bad at all, in fact i like this approach more. it also requires you to learn each Specialist-weapon/gadget combo more, unlike the classes from the previous ones which were too easy. one shot kills aren't a thing, unless headshot or up close shotgun which was also in the old BF games. map size is good, makes you think more about your approach on a Objective. in the end the learning curve is harder but rewarding.
Hey, that makes two of us, been here since BFMC.
When in the previous games did you...
Play as a sniper with an assault rifle?
Play as an engineer with a sniper rifle?
Play as assault with an LMG?
I dig the new gadgets but, where are all the freakin' guns and boundaries between them man!

Agreed @KillerMcKraken ,
It is the whole soul and identity of Battlefield that has been lost !
