Did have an issue the other day but that was 64 conquest on Arica Harbor where I was nearly hitting the ground on the little bird and jet was still locking on. Plus the flares weren't working either. Something that also happen on Valparaiso with the condor, saw the AA missle circle me while flares where up and eventually hit.

Interesting that it's been the old maps where you've noticed weirdness. Maybe that's got something to do with it?
I believe a patch from the last few months created a weak spot on the FWD fuselage.
If a standard hit does 25dmg then I wouldn't be surprised if the bonus damage ups that to 33 or 50 as you are suggesting.
