Re: I don't know who wants to hear this. But I feel sad.

Not trying to be the BF Yoda here (heh) but i realized theres no point in feeling sad because well, it is what it is. Simple. The developer does not owe you or me anything. They can do whatever they want. Will it be a success? I hope for them. Making games is hard. Pleasing gamers is worse. I think the only people worse than unhappy gamers are the toxic star wars fans.

Im pretty sure I will eventually get 2042 - if some of the reviews are good I might bite faster too. Ill admit that. But I must assume that Dice is looking at this board. They also know the people who post here are the hardcore fans and not the masses that bring in the cash. I mean games have to sell millions to break even. There what, maybe 5k people on here if that? A small number.

The latest Blog showed that they do listen to a degree. Can they change the class system now? No. Will things get tweaked in the future? You bet.

3 weeks before release. Not much will change. Im hoping to see some sort of first look by various gaming outlets. Dying to hear how the whole thing will turn out.

@Buzzfunk If they mess-up portal I hope they never make another battlefield game again, series will be dead to me.

@R1ckyDaMan19 Now that, I agree with. The amount of people counting on Portal. Ahh. If it's messed up, it will be dead to me. I am definitely not playing Conquest with wall hackers.

@R1ckyDaMan19 I know how you feel. 2042 will probably be the end of the road for me with Battlefield unless Portal can salvage things. But that still makes me worried that the next title will move even further away from Battlefield's core game play to emulate the next fad and may not have a Portal equivalent.

Not to sound ignorant but as someone who never played Cod, Apex or Warzone. Could you elaborate why specialist=$$$? They come with the full game no? What would i have to pay extra? Its just confusing...😉

@Buzzfunk Skins, early access to more specialists when they make them. And lots of melee kill animations.

It is definitely not about money, they could have easily avoided these in main conquest mode and sold skins for generic classes too.

@Buzzfunk Cosmetic skin sales. Sure some stuff is unlockable, but most will be behind a paywall.
