@1Hairy-Gorilla I agree that not including those inputs seems… short-sighted. However, KBM for consoles is still not as common as you might think and there was a time not too long ago where that was not possible on consoles at all (at least not in an official capacity)…
One of the key side benefits from keeping M&K blocked from the consoles is that it is the best methodology to block the usage of most of the hardware script cheats that mainly is the only way 'cheating' is possible on consoles. If only the console works with the standard gamepad/controllers plugged in for the gameplay, then it drastically limits the option for using those devices to 'enhance' the player's capabilities beyond what is truly possible humanly on a std controller alone.
I personally hope this block will stay in place to keep a level playing field, as intended for the console world to be.
And not a question about who can afford to pimp his/her console the most with gadget plugins and what have you of shady stuff...)
(all while I do recognize the M&K option is enabling players with various disabilities to also play the game on console, as otherwise hampered or not possible at all.)
