The Draugr drone question(s) + HC AI can doge non lock missiles?

How to activate IR vision in cockpit view? 

Was this nerfed (b/c videos from a year ago show ez casual hitting aircraft 3-5 time and they go down). 

What's the best way to get kills?

This is kinda weird question,  BF redditors say it has like thermal vision (wanda vision lol) in cockpit mode / view. Is there a hot key for that?  I see in youtube and reddit posts (but they are all from a year back or so, I guess they had Draugr week in one of the seasons and ppl were giving tips).

And it's awesome as enemy troops / vehicles are highlighted . 

Or does IR only kick in if you unlock the ground radar? 

But when I fly it, it is not like in their youtube videos, I have no thermal, mine looks normal cockpit like any other aircraft.  But as is, for me its hard to see ground enemies, but they do pop up on mini map but it doesn't help cuz it's after the pass. 

The other question is any tips on how get kills on this thing? The EMP bomb damages and its rare that the AI team will kill that ground vehicle. But hey when it comes to that h-60 with fully loaded, and after 8th gun pass its low health, and I make the run to continue and see the explosion and wreckage of the helo drifting down . . .  

Point me to good guide. I saw the youtube where the guy loads up the india shipyard on portal  and casually cruises to the wall ship of the enemy spawn and guns them out that door, and loops back and drops a bomb for tens of kills) but good luck me with  the dang XP pharm (stupid big Farma lol)  hoggin the servers

The last question, maybe this one should come first, did they nerf it?  There's a lot of videos of them going into solo co op or into the air superiority portal. THey literally load up the drone, and pop 4-5 cannon its and the other drones or fighters go down.  And they do those nice drawn out flight curves. 

Their solo videos show the opfor aircraft making casual passes with genteel flying curves. 

When I try it in solo, it takes like 20 odd hits and most of the time their plane's self repair kicks in because the Felon keeps doing the cobra maneuver and the frog foot just does the ACM (air combat maneuver) dodges. They also tend to do reverse rolls and change angle by rolling or yawing as I line up my gun sight on them. It's kinda insane but and makes it more challenging / me a better pilot (I also got situational awareness kills by not paying attention and getting dunked by crashes), 

But it makes kills 3-mins longer than the under ten seconds to a guns shoot down like in videos. 

Or is it just those people are so good at flying? 

Also I notice both the frogfoot and felon can doge the radar missiles, it conjures up memory of one of my uncle friends who was a Phantom RIO in Vietnam and he said the radar guided missiles didn't work 70% of the time (I'm lol as he says this as the quote "cuz works 60% of the time, all the time" ) or it is in those tight turning moments, only the IR Sidewinder can pull it off?  

A part of me is kinda not caring because I'm in it for the skins, but actually I kinda like trying to learn the air power here and wanting to see how the napalm or jdam of the drone.
