Same here regarding PS5. BF2042, PS5 version, is useless to me because you cant compete on aiming velocity against PC players. Disabling crossplay, no players to play.
I dont know if XBox series have the same option, but on PS5 you can install PS4 version that has no crossplay option and have more players.
That saved my investment on PS5 regarding BF2042.
@steeveakiThat's what I wrote in my last reply. Installed the old gen version but it has crossplay - PS4 and XOne. Difference is huge. I can achieve a good score in the next gen version with crossplay on but its quite stressful while playing against only console players is really cheerful. Not so long ago I thought that playing shooters on a gamepad is a terrible experience. I was wrong. Its really enjoyable but there are downsides that are not as visible as long you dont put me against people with more precise input devices. I would welcome mnk on S/X and PS5 in the next gen version but I'm sure most people would simple prefer the full console experience. Since old gen people were asking about connecting consoles together not mixing consoles and PC.
