- @MZR_926 Why not? Maybe against a tank I could see that making sense, but a heli? Bullets can definitely damage vehicles IRL?
Are you arguing from a balancing perspective? I’d still disagree, air vehicles have been so dominant in this game that anything that just slightly irritates them and keeps them from completely camping areas is a move in the right direction.

It is not a sniper rifle
It is a railgun.
Railguns make up for their lack of explosive payload by making explosive-like damage with kinetic energy.
I can get that a TANK should feel less threatened by this. But not light vehicles or air

why not, it's not a lock on. it requires skill to hit a vehicle with it
Must be trolling if you think it takes skill to hit any ground vehicle with the NTW-50 or Rorsch. A flying vehicle, sure, but a ground vehicle, lol.

he's a helo guy who doesn't like lock ons. i'm talking air vehicles. ground vehicles are cake to hit
It's not a sniper first of all. Its a rail gun, based off the mrk1 from bf4/2142 the only sniper that has vehicle damage all tho it got nerfed pretty quickly due to small number of safe space living babies that didn't like that it was good at its job aka the NTW-50.
The nerf on the Rorsch MK4 was absolutely not needed, it was basically perfectly balanced, I have been killed by people using the sws, dxr, gol more times then the Rorsch, I rarely seen it used at all, if it was so over powered then why was everything single person in each game not using it? The issue is dice decided too listen to.
some tiny little safe space corner group plus I'm sure the YouTubers who made videos saying it was so overwhelming and powerful didn't help either,
because in reality you gotta have some laggy * internet or using hacks or playing on a toaster to win any sort of mid range close range even long range engagements with it effectively. Once again another weapon that had its place & play style. But now its just useless, joining the other nerfed ,useless * in the pile.

- @MZR_926 then what is the NTW-50? Its literally a Anti-Materials Rifle - AKA Vehicle damage.
The RL Variant of the NTW is 20mm and 14.5mm, that will DEFINITELY damage vehicles.
Having fired a NTW on a range, that thing leaves a hole to be desired on a soft vehicle target.
I watched even a 14.5mm NTW punch a 4 inch wide 13 inch deep hole into a v12 diesel block.
Any of the other sniper rifles though - yes i agree with you.
but then look at the muzzle velocity of the Rorsch, its 5x faster than any sniper rifle's bullet, and its literally a armor piercing tungsten dart. it WILL 'plink' away at any vehicle.
