I assume there's some technical limitation, but it'd be good if there was a way of stopping Rush XL from replacing Rush then that could help. We'd end up with two versions for a week, but at least regular Rush would be available still.
- @ElliotLH Agreed, Rush XL is something completely different from Rush as it should be.
- ElliotLH2 years agoHero+@RanzigeRidder2 Yeah I enjoy Rush XL same as I enjoy Rush, but they do not play the same way.

@ElliotLHThere's x2 TDM this week and rush has been removed yet again. Make it make sense. I think that they persist on removing Rush to try to populate other modes on their community calendar. I doubt it's technical limitations.
All they have to do is leave CQ, BT, Rush and TDM alone and then use the - "insert trash game mode of the week tile" for their abysmal experimental game modes like Rush XL, Shutdown, Front lines etc.I'd have never have spent a dime on this game if I knew I could only play it for 1 week of every month.

@I_DYN4MO_I It could well be a choice someone at Dice is making. I'm just leaning towards it being a limitation as we've seen that kind of thing happen with the tiles in the main menu - like how you can only make progress on the FNB unlocks when FNB is the highlighted tile at the top.
We definitely don't need two TDMs at the same time, though, as one is more than enough IMHO.
While I was somewhat prepared for the rotating game modes due to the announcements that the live service model from BFV was being used in 2042, I really do hope that Dice does it differently in the next game (I assume that'll be "live service" too). Gamemodes coming and going and people not enjoying how it's managed seem to be one of the most posted-about issues.
