Re: There are no cheat-free games left anymore

Even though there were no bots in the game, I saw a player on the opposing team with 22 kills just 5 minutes into the match :) I honestly don't eve know what to say anymore.

What's really upsetting is the amount of time I waste quitting the game and searching for a new server every time. I recommend this to all players: if you even slightly suspect there's a cheater in your match, don't bother — just leave the game immediately. Reporting doesn't help at all. At least if you leave early, you won't end up frustrated.

The best option in my eyes is to make my own server with blackjack and h00kers, but really tho, you can ban people from your personal portal server, just pick the rigth settings and you will be able to have full xp, the difficult part is pupulating said server.

i feel the frustration and wanting to just give up but is really important to report any suspicious activity when you feel someone is genualy cheating, and also there is also the possibility that that person is just a cracked-monster-energy-fueled-tryhard, most people play games casually but some really like the game (and also take it too seriously like its on a tournament every match)

just curious here, on what plataform and server are you?, im on pc and in the latin american server, aka sao pablo (yes the whole continent uses the brazilian servers)

I know the feeling. It stinks but I mean every online game has them. Still report though. Always a chance they will get banned.

I'll never go back to PC multiplayer. There's just too many cheaters. There's cheaters on console too but not nearly as many as on PC.

Computer vision AI aimbot cheats are starting to show up on console. I'm sure network packet sniffing radar hacks are also possible on console. Although it should be much more difficult to get the decryption key for network traffic off a console compared to a PC.

I believe computer vision AI aimbot cheats can be mitigated on console with MouseTrap anticheat software currently being deployed by Ubisoft in Rainbow Six Seige. It basically detects mouse and computer vision AI users by monitoring a player's aiming inputs. If MouseTrap detects aiming patterens that match AI it bans them or adds severe input lag to the controls.

It's strictly PlayStation multiplayer for me from here on out, with PC crossplay disabled. I would consider Xbox but Microsoft makes it too hard to disable crossplay which limits the player pool.

It's a shame because I've been PC gaming since the 1980's and PC would continue to be my preferred platform if cheaters weren't a thing. I've been dealing with PC cheaters since Quake and they've only gotten worse as time goes on.

Console is just as bad plus they toss in aim assist to make it worse. Cronus it’s what’s killing games now not pc
