If DICE really gone put out the beta until 22, I think they won't have enough time to fix bug or do some improve before game lunch.😳
The team can't just give specific info out all willy nilly because a lot of the time, the final call is last minute and a fair share of the team is as in the dark as the players. Relax, tranquilo, sit back and chill friends; it'll come when it comes :P
- @TTZ_Dipsy Well I was waiting to try the technical test on PS5 and they found a critical error in less than 24hrs when it was supposed to go live, they could give an estimate at least 🤷♂️ it's also fair to say at this point the beta will reflect the game we'll be buying when they're having the beta so close to launch.
It sounds highly unlikely that a AAAA-gamedev. like Dice is comparable to three dudes in a shed building a car like:
"Oohhh we will finish this hopefully tomorrow and then maybe take it for a testdrive if we have time for it - depending on how many beer we will drink tonight"
I guarantee they have a schedule timed down to which projects, deadlines & goals to achieve daily/weekly.
Pretty sure its not like "John" from Sounddesign is butchering the last few samples together this afternoon and then send out an company-wide email stating: K´guy... Sorry for delaying the project but I think we can go live on the Beta on Sunday if Maggie would be so kind to upload the latest version of the game to the test-server by tomorrow-evening!"

Well, I'm trying to be practical and work out the best time to clear out my SSD and reinstall BFV onto my HDD. This weekend feels about right.

Heh yup, I was part of the PS5 group as well so I understand the frustration.
I can't comment on the specifics but I know they were working hard to make it available for us too; it's a shame how it ended up but that beats them pushing it through anyway and causing problems.
Yup, Betas are almost always close representations of how the final product will look but the feedback given during its tenure is absolutely critical - the old CM Jaqub Ajmal made a fantastic post on Twitter about Alphas and Betas I encourage everyone to read - I'm a little busy at the moment but it shouldn't be too hard to searchI'm not sure if one should be concerned that the first news we receive in weeks is regarding a nerf.
