Re: Why Battlefield 2042 still fails to land with audiences

@Defias123 wow, you've got a long one with 13 references to cheese, have a sandwich mate and chill. Your point on sniper glare, I say leave it as it is, everyone hates campers unless you are one. Vehicles are fine too except the Lis rockets through the window. Maps are well designed in my opinion and I enjoy the different levels it helps to spread out the fight making it difficult for snipers to watch over the whole map. Fast vehicle and soldier spawn are the settings I use on my portal servers and no restrictions on gadgets. The turrets are strong enough if you play hardcore modes. Kill cams and mini maps don't matter when playing hardcore and bullets actually do damage. I'm not talking about these "one shot-one kill" servers that are proving popular amongst the weak COD players that can destroy vehicles with a fart. In short, try joining a server that isn't a top populated one and sit in it for a bit to help fill it up, when it get to about 20 players it will fill up and stay full. On XBox1 version my favorites are HAPPY HARDCORE, (GERM) and if they're not open K2C which doesn't have quick spawn. On XBox S version I haven't found a quick spawn hardcore server but you could always host HAPPY HARDCORE with code AAYMWK.

i feel that sniper glare should react appropriately to all light sources. the same goes for any type of sight or uh glass type things i guess. especially if you use ray tracing right? consideration to real life light refraction and whatnot. also what's up with enemy grenade markers it always seems like too much if you ask me? anyway in the early days of battlefield i was wondering why so many snipers had flashlight attachments. was like dang these snipers trying to blind me, can't see exactly what im shooting from way back where i'm at. despite being so visible haha. negatively affects both sides. for real like i don't need all that to find them and its bs they are so visible for them. ok flashlight here head should be about right there? meanwhile they are focused easily on my head.

@turtlebeached Where do you draw the line between camping and defending? It's a necessary 'evil'. Good campers can annoy a whole team and throw them off balance. A bad camper, well that's a lot of easy melee's.

@59hushy6ywi8 personally I enjoy going snipe hunting. Defribs, blow torch, C5, vehicle call ins and anything else that will kill the little pests. Yes they are annoying to most and scope glare is essential for locating the lazy fornicators in hardcore. No kill cam or "skill screen" to give you a clue.

@turtlebeached I did too. Before the great nerf I made great use of all my tools to remove pests, whether flying, camping, sniping, whatever. C5 when I could get close, railgun for when I couldn't.
