Recoil
Hello. Look, I'm gonna skip the formalities here. You guys need to tell either your BF2042 team or DICE to fix the vertical recoil in BF2042. Seriously. I've been a die-hard BF fan since Bad Company....
I never said aim assist is the cause of no recoil , 2042 in general has little to no recoil for Consol players as where PC players have to hang on for dear life with recoil which makes it 10 times harder to get a kill or kills !

The recoil modifier for controller users is 0.75x according to sym.gg. it is not a 10x penalty against mouse users.
I will say this ONE more time, and ONCE more only:
The MAJORITY of players play on DEFAULT values.
So, if you come here looking for advice, you will find NONE.
It's literally impossible to advise anyone on ANYTHING related to the game when there are so many variables.
I'm very tired and I literally don't have the want, nor the need to elaborate.
I will give this FINAL piece of advice;
LEARN TO PLAY THE GAME FOR YOURSELF!
If you have an issue with recoil - Increase your Field of View(+ ADS FOV ON(Crucial or you should have left it as was).
If I was a game developer, I would save myself a LOT of grief by ensuring that EVERYBODY played the same game.
Gibl3ts signs out here,
GL to all.
@Gibl3tsspeaking of which: personal ideal settings for the Xbox are *not* portable to the PS system. I.e. it is a completely different playing experience between the consoles with the same settings. (Has to do with the internal mechanics of the controller: torque, moments of inertia, etc.) Players should bear that in mind when copying settings from YT videos.
All this jumping through hoops because they can't seem to find/fix the hitreg issues. If the hit registration was fixed, we wouldn't need bullet spread!
Just think no more hit behind cover "taking cover would be an effective counter". No more one-shot kills "Making TTD more in synch with what it should be".
