The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment
Hey, Battlefield 2042 community! The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment (AKA: 7Cav) community is looking to break ground with a new starter platoon for battlefield 2042 on November 12th! We are actively recruiting new troopers to join our ranks and to help develop our consistently growing community!
What is the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment?
We are an established Mil-Sim gaming community that has been around since October of 2002 during the old days of Call of Duty 1 and 2, but have been active in a multitude of first shooter games since. Our current official games (AO's) that we operate in are Arma 3, Hell Let Loose, Escape from Tarkov, and now Battlefield 2042. We have generally between 300 and 350 active members at one time and we are collectively a brotherhood. Regardless if you're a casual player who is looking to find people to play with on a regular basis or a competitive player that likes to heavily utilize tactics and good comms to dominate a game, we have a place for you in the Cav!
What are the requirements to enlist?
The current requirements to enlist are as followed:
- Minimum age is 18, not debatable, no exceptions
- You must have a microphone
- Must have TeamSpeak 3
- Must be willing to play in a Military and Tactical Realism Unit
- Must be willing to take orders and follow the chain of command (CoC)
- Must practice with your assigned squad 1 hour a week
- Must post on the forums one time a week
- Must not be a member of another clan. Dual Clanning is prohibited.
- Must not have a VAC or game ban on record for any reason in the last 5 years
What can I expect if I join the 7Cav?
Within the cav, you will be run through "bootcamp" where you will be brought up to speed on the rules and regulations of the cav along with the traditions and other. Once you have graduated, you will be assigned a section with which you will practice weekly. You will also be able to join in any operation missions and classes that are made weekly across all of our AO's. While in the Cav, you will progress in rank and obtain medals and ribbons based on your actions during operations in-game and within the Cav. You can expect to meet many different people from all around the world!
