Imho It would make sense to adopt this change only time will tell whether it comes about.

The Portal mode mode running 1942 currently has bots show up to fill the roles with one player in the game, and the bots are actually pretty difficult to play against at times.

  Yes inoticed that yesterday, the bots got replaced really quickly so it's working well.

    So there is nothing mentioned in the upcoming patch regarding this, hopefully it will get addressed in a future update as I really believe it would be a big help in reducing waiting times in the lobby.
