@RayD_O1 @ATFGunr  If they don’t want to remove the limit how about a limit that reduces in number over time like it takes 2 off every 2 mins or something that might work.

@mickey921 maybe work out the maximum wait time e.g. 90 seconds, and reduce the player count proportionately over the 90 seconds until it hits 1 at the end of the count.

Importantly, don't have the wait time active between games i.e. once you have a game going, roll on to the next map. so if the game only have 5 players, it continues to the next map without the 90 second wait time.

Alternately, add game modes like Rush XL to the official Portal experiences, with the same player number/wait time rules as above.

    Lots of good ideas, all of which would be an improvement over the current method. 👍

    DICE please look at reducing the number of players required / wait times, and implement for Season 5.

    @RayD_O1 All matches should start with one person and with all AI then back fill as players come into the game. Then maybe i can get into a game instead of waiting for players in my region to join up. At least portal i can get into games no problem.

    100% this, it works in Portal and it would work in AOW,

    ALL players in ALL regions need access.

    DICE can you please reduce the minimum numbers of players required to start a round in AOW.

    It would be very helpful to players in regions with low player counts and also for players wanting to play with cross play turned off.

    It works really well in Portal so adopting a similar system in AOW would be helpful.

    Once the games get started they populate fairly quickly and remain populated.

    II's just getting past that initial hurdle where players wait in the lobby and then leave because it takes too long to reach the current minimum requirement.

    @RayD_O1 am still yet to play the new map on Breakthrough because of the small player base in Oceania!

    Sorry to hear that, it is for that very reason DICE really need to address this asap.

    ALL players must have access and everyone should spend less time waiting in lobbies and more time actually playing the game.
