My stance on crossplay is clear, so the moment I can’t find matches without it anymore I’m done with this game.
100% this, I strongly believe that 1-player starts are needed urgently to stop players from leaving and moving on to other games due to the lack of access to BF2042.
It should be so simple to implement as a lot of the Weekly Official Portal Experiences such as World Tour etc used to be 1-player starts up until a few months ago.

I firmly believe that the introduction of 1-player starts for all game modes in AOW / Official Portal Experiences would truly benefit all players and help keep BF2042 alive.
Everyone would benefit from one-player-starts.

They were able to do this before so should be a simple thing to do again. One start would be epic if implemented.

Agreed, and imho it would give the game a much needed boost and the whole gaming experience would be transformed.
Think of how different things could be if all players could just join a game whenever they wanted.
Instead of hanging around getting frustrated waiting to reach the required number, and watching in frustration as players give up and leave.
They couldn't even do 1 player start for Christmas in Holiday Protocol. So lame I used to play most days, now maybe once a fortnight.

I would imagine you are not alone. 1-player starts in all modes would allow all players to be able to play when they want to.
Please reduce the numbers to start a round. I would not hurt anything to do!

I really hope they implement one player starts in all modes.
Anything that can be done to maintain player retention should be implemented to make it easier for all players in all regions to get into matches.
