@sk1lld I appreciate that it costs money to spin up servers, but the fact that EA lets this situation continue for current players doesn't fill me with confidence that EA have any care for their existing player base.

We have long memories, and the days of automatically buying the latest iteration of a popular game have long gone. Consumers are not as forgiving any more.

@sk1lld Let’s hope not. For sure I won’t be one of them.

BF2042 has alienated a lot of the Battlefield community. This already started with BFV and how support for that game ended early.

The key will be how many new players who are unaware of all the previous drama they can lure in.
