Evolution is a process that is supposed to carry over the better things from the past generations.
If we are to talk in ecological terms, Battlefield needs to do its best to have its own niche. If people want to play for example Call of Duty they will go play call of duty over a cal of duty-like game.
I am speaking more generally and not specifically for BF2042.
