Been this way for as long as I can remember, sadly. I don't mind the old system of only being able to auto heal so much - IIRC, a single AA rocket could still take you down if an Engineer wasn't helping.
Would be nice if more people made AA a kit staple, but of course, repair tooling as a passenger will also need to be fixed

Again with the EZMode whine? Really!? It takes 4 recoils to take one down. That is presuming they hit. Let me help you pilot here. Move. As long as youre moving, your life expectancy increases by 100% Now that 1 hits are essentially gone, you dont have to do squat. Have you brought of a map recently? Armor is camping. It doesnt move much anymore. Light armor still does, but Tanks and Mavs just sit in one spot and spam. Now that drones are gone, they have nothing to worry.
Seriously, if self regen and regen bots make armor unplayable, might I suggest looking for ant hills and just stomping them? You can get 20 kills in 1 blow without any risk of getting 1 shot.
