Remove the AI from the game. They ruin it.

These brain dead AI need to be removed from the game except if people want to add them to a Portal match. They have no place in this game. They are just the worst coded AI in the history of gaming, they completely take you out of the realism of it as you watch them just walk into oncoming fire again and again.

Just remove them. They are a failed experiment.

I'm not completely sure about this, at least they res people and play the objective unlike the real players.

They do and they are also very accurate when throwing grenades. !

  • You mean to tell me you don't like dying because you're distracted by shooting at an AI or an auto dog thinking it's a sniper?

The AI are better than most players and engage in more teamwork. I'd rather have a bot team most days tbh.

Same. The chance of getting revived or getting ammo from a bot is a hell of a lot higher than from a teammate.

@BizzyVapingI can see that in how often my friends are surprised at how committed I am at reviving them even when they consider it risky.

Players are used to not being revived.

Yeah the amount of times I have had squadmates completely ignore multiple downed squadmembers while they were sitting behind cover and within reviving distance is almost comical.

They would rather keep taking potshots at a random enemy on the horizon than they would get the easy xp from reviving multiple squadmates right in front of them.

@BizzyVaping That's one of my biggest peeves. You get visual and audio cues that are impossible to miss when you're a medic or squadmate, and people are still completely oblivious to it. Others sit metres away and don't attempt to help. Those that do frequently wait until the worst possible moment to do so (like when an enemy is clearly standing there, or a grenade lands there, or smoke clears), so you end up being instantly killed again.

When I play medic I will get to any person I can, even if they're 50m away. I'll check its clear, and I'll rez them. If there are enemies nearby and I can, I will take them out first and then rez so they don't instantly get killed again. I've managed to salvage a few attacks on an objective by aggressively reviving anyone I can reach. Same for healing and ammo supply.

  • I don't mind the ai. The game would be dead without them because of empty servers. The ai allows them to start games sooner. The ai also  helps with farming weapon/vehicle unlocks which i am not complaining about.
