As the title says there is no balancing in game if some random guy with the drone and C5 can kill any vehicle or person without any way to counter it, it's frustrating, it's toxic and it's game breaking...
Why the hell did you think that allowing such a thing would be funny or positive for the game?
You want to nerf the heli? Ok but now genius go to nerf even this because this is battlefield NOT THAT CRAP KNOWN AS COD, people that rants for the vehicles should go to play COD instead

- @Lone_Strang3r The fix to this non issue is to stay mobile.
If you are staying still long enough for someone to fly a drone at you, swap to the c5 detonator and kill you, you need to stop being immobile for as long and then you will find this happens far less frequently.
The only way it could then kill you is if a player is working together with the drone operator and they are communicating as to when the other player can detonate it.Are you serious?
I was killed the exact moment i arrived on a flag, i was killed while running, and i was killed while static... I repeat this is a toxic mechanic, because you can't stay always moving while you are fighting another tank because you can miss long shots or prone because they are shooting at you, this is not the solution, there are moments in the match that you need to stay static because the enemy can force you to be static or the evolution of the match itself...

That is absolutely not true.
You don't need team work to operate the drone or someone to tell you when to trigger.
Basically, people use Casper, with C5.
Call drone, exit drone , place 3 of the C5 on the drone, enter drone and go high up. Spam spot non-stop, get XP for that and go to the nearest tank, and descend fast onto the tank. And it will auto explode.
If you fail, re-supply up and do it again without any consequence. If you hit your target, get rewarded with XP, multi-kills and vehicle destroyed stats.
This is totally unfair and one sided.
There is a jeep in the game, players can use the classical way of placing C5 on them and drive it to a tank.
This drone C5 just kills all tanks , especially in Breakthrough. I mostly play Breakthrough and I can tell you, tanks have became useless.

Reading you post remind me there was a guy on breakthrough that was by himself hidden or prone and killed a lot of tanks with this disgusting system... How this is supposed to be balanced or funny? This is toxic and DICE need to fix this asap because it's game breaking

Or I would be flying my own drone to EMP their drones down for others to shoot.
These are two counters that I came up very quickly when I decided I wanted to reduce the enemy drones.

Unlike a ready and packed weapon like the UCAV, the drone user will be set back a lot each time they get shot down between the drone cooldown, the c5 resupply and the preparation of the next drone
C5 drone spamming is worse than UCAV. And I loved UCAV. I used it mostly as anti littlebird weapon. Tanks in the game are weak as hell already, no need for weapons that kill you instantly without giving any warning.

How about focusing on making the tanks better so they can actually correspond to the throngs of infantry they have to deal with then?
in Conquest the C5 drone is not a big thing and i know that Breakthru is another thing
(Also, we don't want to talk about the clear exploit that exist in Breakthru!!!!!)
Related to one thread here I tested it and here are my experience with it:
- hitting a target from the front don't kill it every time (it depends how the vehicle is damaged already) > so attacking from the front is waste of time 😉
- a tank is not easy to hit when it moving, also you need to hit it more from behind or top (i don't know if the also side works) > standing still and spamming shots kills you 😉
- Helicopter are nearly impossible (only when hovering on a cop I think, never tested)
-Casper needs a safe spot like a bush or building not far from the vehicle because the range is limited
Detection
- every proy nade shows the drone (not only on the mini map)
- ranger will attack a drone
- another drone can detect it
- soflam can detect it
Counter:
Learn and adapt, equip prox and hunt down casper.
Related to the changes to make the drone more visible and a bigger hit zone it will make casper totally obsolete
I play casper as a classic sniper and using the drone for the emp (which is close to useless) and spotting.
At the moment emp gives no reward and with mass proxy nade the spotting is down to 25%
So, if you don't have done the Spotting thing for 200 people in one round it is now nearly impossible to get it Conquest (maybe it is still possible in BreakThru)
And it won’t get better when the hit zone gets bigger and the drone more visible….
- @CountSero Can confirm hitting from the side doesn’t work or from under the tank. As along as the target is still moving, the drone is unlikely insta-kill the target. Have also tried with flying targets as well, there is actually no collision interaction for it the drone would actually fly through the air vehicles instead, you have to manually detonate the charges to get air target with this combo

Once I was just spotting for my team and put the c5 for a good measure.
Then suddenly my drone dies.
When I get back to the view of my soldier I see a burning attack helicopter failing from the sky and I get 2 kills.
Apparently the heli dude collided with my hovering drone from behind for an one in a million moment.
Too bad shadowplay was bugged then
- @Lone_Strang3r i`ve been playing alot since the 19th nov release and so far i got blown up this way only once.
also i think it's this kind of stuff that makes a game fun, you can nerf everything to death, but you'll end up with something like cs:go.
This is Battlefield! I like it. It's fun and funny when it happens to me. I haven't done it yet because i'm lazy but i think it adds to the game and im sorry if you have problems countering it. Calling something toxic is the new thing for everyone to do instead of sounding like youre crying, which you are. This is toxic, that is toxic and its all toxic. Toxic..... - @Deagnos234 This is true, after I emp a tank they quite often retreat, I can follow but have to wait for them to stop to catch up.
One thing though, drones are to be given a faster movement speed in one of the upcoming updates, hopefully not too much faster. The problem with the drones is just the same as with the sensor balls
Simply that too many people cannot be bothered to shoot at the enemy ones. Which is a player culture problem and less of a gadget problem
For the drones this will get kinda fixed with how they will become more visible with their lights and also get a larger hitbox.
I seem to be one of the few people who destroys enemy intel gadgets when I find them
- @UP_Hawxxeye I do too, enemy drones get emp'd, if I see a non friendly proxy Ball I emp it, if I see a robodog I emp it, if I see a turret I emp it, if I see a spawn beacon, I emp it.
Perhaps we need modifiable tanks...
Recently spotted Russian tanks on Ukraine border modified against Turkish Bayrakter TB2 drones and Javelin attacks.

For all the good it will do I uploaded a compilation of me foiling enemy drones with gun, Rao's hack ability and my own drone (yes I am trying to get tier 1 Casper, got a problem with that ?)
The last 2 drones were also loaded with C5 so you can guess that I saved two vehicles.
It will become a lot easier to do what I did there after the next update.
For me the problem starts with how many players do not even perceive the drones as a threat. Try flying a drone near AI bots and see how they react compared to a player, they treat is as seriously as a regular aircraft
C5 drones are ruining the game.
