@SCUBASTEVE120 I do not understand how previous iterations of BF (or COD, for that matter), could have dozens of excellent maps, and DICE struggles with 6 over 18 months for BF2042. Something is fundamentally wrong with DICE's staffing/budget/expertise.

I'm struggling to think of a decent CQC map that a horde of Mackays wouldn't break. Imagine Fort De Vaux with a wall of Dozers.
Might be easier to just port over a hit list of the best BF maps, keep the gunplay and gadgets from 2042 and remove the Specialist abilities.
Just use them as skins in their current 4 classes.
