@fragnstein The criticism isn't that assets were re-used, that's a smart development practice to save time/money when you have fantastic existing assets and don't need to create something new.
The criticism more comes that they cut some corners like this and the game is still significantly flawed and incomplete to the point where S1 got delayed at least (we'll see) 3 months for them to rehab the game.
These kinds of decisions are intended to make development faster/easier to improve the rest of the quality of the game, like in Horizon Forbidden West. That didn't happen with BF2042, which is why it's being called out.
