Hopefully the proposed upcoming hotfix on 2nd April goes ahead and sorts this issue.
If its not ready Imho they should roll back the update until a proper fix is available.

I hope the recoil system in Battlefield 7 is completely overhauled. No more recoil to the left and bullets go to the right. 🥺

I have the sneaking suspicion that the hotfix will be something that will be more fitting for April 1st than 2nd.- sk1lld1 year agoLegend
Just everyone say it, it is a visual nerf there's nothing else you can call it. It needs to be removed because it will never be fixed properly imho.

After messing around with guns and scopes, as we know, some guns and scopes are effected more than others.
The DMR’s in particular appear to have been shafted.
Having the scope bounce to give the impression of more “immersion” is one thing, but scope-bounce isn’t all they’ve done.
The whole image on screen bounces with each shot. This is what makes it even more harassing on the eyes.
If they had just made the scope bezel bounce, while keeping the crosshair and overall image stable, I think I would be happy with that.
The DM7 with a ghost hybrid scope is almost unusable.
The bounce is ridiculous. The whole image on screen (both inside the scope and around it) bounces like crazy. This is what make it hard to stay on target while shooting.
As mention above, I’ve got a feeling that what they’re going to do is potentially mess it up more.
They need to revert it back, or fix it so just the scopes and any visible parts of the gun bounce abit - and that’s all.
If indeed all they wanted to do was add “visual” recoil, then this is what they should do.
