Roadmap to the next Battlefield
With Battlefield 2042 passing the three year mark, it’s time to start thinking about the future, In particularly the next title.
Let’s start with official communication on the launch window for the next game.
But as it Is rumored to be fall/winter next year, it would be a good thing to keep people engaged until that time.
How about a roadmap to the next Battlefield for BF2042?
We now have the circle of hell event which has been a good example of sparking players interest. It would be good to know if there are any more of these events planned in the future and also to take learning from this.
In order to prevent dying of Battlefield 2042 before the next title launches here is a list of suggestions to keep the game alive until then. Most of these have been proposed via standalone threads on these boards already:
- add a server browser
- add persistent servers
- reduce the number of players to start a match
- keep events like Circle of hell coming
- continue with weekly missions
- Continue with battle passes
- keep bringing remaining vault weapons/vehicles to A0W
- And finally (I know this is an illusion, but that is exactly what the I in DICE stands for), bring new content!
