Roadmap?
I'm not trying to be a troll but am sincerely curious is a roadmap coming? I just feel this might relieve a lot of angst in community right now, not all of it naturally but a lot.
Still no official response, eh?
Awesome....
They already put out a roadmap.
work on bug fixes, optimizations and minor features like adding a legacy scoreboard plus tweak maps, release season 1 starting early summer and have the first map or two's worth of fixes by early summer.
Then it is season 2 a few months later. Along with another map fix maybe two.
Then season 3 and 4 with tweaked maps.
In each season probably a new map a new gun or two, a new gadget, a new specialist and probably new mode. Patches will regularly happen throughout.
Have we not played BF before? This is the same road map for every BF game. Even going as far back as BF1942. Except then the "seasons" were called Expansion packs that cost ~$30 each. 🙂
Yes, I have played/own every title since BF1942 as well as all the expansion packs, with the exception of Heroes and Hardline.
Making vague promises about "bug fixes, optimizations" that you're citing doesn't equal a "roadmap"
The community should be kept in the loop what they are prioritizing and what direction they are going. As well as an approximate timetable.
It's not like it's dark-wizardry or anything it's simply communication and feedback.
@Ironhead841I mean...it's not surprising that they're failing at basic communications given the state of the game as a whole, sadly. DICE and 2042 have delivered one thing consistently since it launched: Disappointment.
Edit: Per other developer tweets (not linking to them atm since I don't like linking to devs personal accounts) there is some sort of internal roadmap at least and they can't work any faster on fixes. Shame they won't share anything about it, even vague/high level information, but like...itssomething.jpg

There is only one form of communication on these forums, we ask questions and nobody answers.!!
Just highlighting this again in the hope we get a response.
