Rorsch - What is its purpose?

Seriously what is its purpose now? Crazy sway with no attachments to help mitigate like other options. Can't use steady breath because it's not a sniper. Every other sniper can get 2-3 shots off before you get one. Every automatic can unload half a mag or more before you can even charge the assault version. Burst outside of short to mid range is pointless due to recoil. Now does chip damage so you can get assists to every vehicle but only with assault or burst. It's a bigger meme than the crossbow was when it was added. The crossbow is actually more effective and useful at this point.

@SnubbyFighter The Rorsch was fine the way it was, they really did ruin it and now it has no purpose.

Yep, it's pretty much garbage right now, I'm glad I got it T1-ed before it got nerfed.

I was working towards the T1 before the great nerf, and unfortunately this got borked hard by the whiners. Like, why? If you're bad against something, find a counter. Don't cry until a tool or weapon is too useless to hurt you anymore.

I thought it was bad in general, but nope it's even worse. The high power single fire mode doesn't even work on Casper's drone. It's so pitiful and broken it can't even hurt a tiny drone. :🙌

@SnubbyFighter I used it fairly effectively as a regular assault rifle because of its high damage and accuracy. Switching to sniper mode just to kill off campers. Will give it a try to see how it works now. I remember getting T1 for it in a couple of days

@UP_LordPlumber I left it on high power mode and even took a short video of this one game. Caught a turret user, blam. Went to one side of the ship and shot down a copter, then walked to the other side to snipe a bunch of people pushing our flag zone. Talk about versatile.

Then the devs took a dump on the whole thing.

Unfortunately, EA/DICE decided it was to powerful and nurfed it into oblivion. Don't like it now.

Once DICE finally decides to release the x40 scopes, it will become good for punishing every sniper in sight.
Until then it is a bad overnerfed gun that can only work at the hands of insanely good players who do not need it to do well
I do not even understand what data drove DICE to nerf it.

What I don't understand is why even introduce the weapon into the game and then nerf it to hell?!? Just another example of the devs not having a clue about their own game.

This is why I always jump on the new guns immediately to T1 them. There's always 1 or 2 that are clearly OP and scheduled for a nerf. RM68, I'm looking at you.
