@tom_looken Does your cpu have an integrated gpu? It's possible that the game was using that instead of your 3080.

The 3800X does not have a built in gpu. But something is up with OP's system because I have the six core 3600X paired with a 3080 and I average 80-100fps @1440P with ray tracing off, HDR on, DLSS set to Quality and everything esle set to Ultra.
For the first couple of rounds at least, then there seems to be a memory leak and unless I restart I hover around 60-70.
- claudiu1114 years agoRising Scout@TheCompton73 Yeah the 3800x doesnt' have one. Most likely it's a VPN issue. I have a 5950x and I don't get the memory leak, but I'm sure in your case it's a game problem. During beta I had constant stutter and the game was unplayable(it worked fine though with multithreading disabled ). This game is not fully optimized for Ryzen cpus. My stuttering is gone now, they fixed the issue. Maybe the next patch will fix your issues too.
